In this article, I am going to discuss about today’s state of the fashion industry, how the industry have changed over the years and decades, what my opinions and suggestions are. The whole thing will be based on my personal opinion out of my own perspectives on what I have seen and personally observed.

The existence of the incredibly advanced technology today obviously puts a huge impact on the fashion industry. It makes everything simpler, easier, instant, and fast growing in many of its different prospects; productions, media, advertising, etc. The rainbow to this is that we all can simply go on our mobile smart phones, go online and there, everything you are looking for whether it is fashion or not, it is right there. As well as producing fashion, it is as simple as taking a simple image, edit the picture, post on social media and your work has instantly spread to the world. Crucially, one mistake made, turning back or gaining back your good image or reputation may be 99% possible. What my point in this is that, the fashion world now has its lack of loyalty. Most fashion today borns and dies in a simple snap. It is quite devastating to see some fashion that are truly an expression of genuine feelings and work of art, that they vanish into thin air. Rather, the ones that are accepted by the public are the fashion that aren't original.

I think that the current state of the fashion industry is that the real art essence of fashion work is partly gone now. I have always looked up to fashion as such great inspiration and work of art and that it is such a wonderful industry to feel incredible about each work that have been produced. But now, it seems that more of the current fashion are just too unreal, there is a major lack of authenticity and pure, original creativity. Some are produced in a certain way and result for the sake of public acceptance instead of coming from true expressions.

It is true that when something is instant, it will only be temporary. This is because everything should be built with a strong foundation and base in order to finally have a lifetime result (like the eiffel tower, for instance). I think that the fashion industry has to slow down a little to step back and take the time to think, what should be worked on, produced and created that makes a huge value and impact that worth all the hard work and sweat. Let alone the values, the people that are involved in working in the industry are also putting more than their own lives in risks too. So, I think that the fashion industry need to be more realistic and actually making people’s lives better rather than creating things that are only pleasant to the eyes in seconds. Therefore, the worth of the fashion industry will be valued more as it is the largest industry in all over the world, might as well spread good impact.
